This project consisted of a complete upgrade to the Village of Tonica’s wastewater treatment facility. It included one control building, two single-channel oxidation ditches, 2 25’-diameter final clarifiers, one clarifier splitter structure with two sludge pumps, one blower building and effluent Parshall flume, one equalization basin duplex pump station, conversion of the liquid sludge holding tank to an aerobic digester, conversion of the existing sand filters into an equalization basin, new standby generator, plant wiring and controls, and associated civil, site, mechanical, structural, and electrical work.
